Body camera footage shows a 2020 incident where the woman with autism was confronted by police

This video revolves around a young woman named Kayleigh, who has autism and behavioural problems. We can see in this video that the police are confronting that girl. Kayleigh was seen walking back into a parking lot at a gas station. Someone asked the police officer if Kayleigh had a problem with her mind, and the officer thought that might be the case.

The officer tried to talk to Kayleigh several times, but she refused to tell her name. When Kayleigh’s mom arrived, she acted like she didn’t know her mom and pushed her away. At that point, another officer decided it had been enough time. The officer went closer to Kayleigh to put handcuffs on her, and she kept shouting, “Don’t touch me.” The more the officer touched her, the angrier she got. The body camera videos are not continuous, but the time on them shows that within ten minutes of the officer arriving, Kayleigh had handcuffs on. After that, Kayleigh was taken to jail where she stayed for three weeks.
